Dumb, inconsistent things I have heard MGS fans...
Q: It's stupid. That's not MGS.
Me: Correct. It is named Metal Gear...Rising, not MGS Rising. There is a difference, like Metal Gear on the MSX and Metal Gear Solid on PSX.
Q: Why are they giving it off to another company like that?
Me: Because the life cycle of pre-production and concept going in an endless loop isn't very motivating and hits funds.
Q: Why Platinum Games?
Me: For the kind of game they want to deliver, they are renown in the business for that field (high speed action), mostly by accomplishing so much in few games (Bayonetta, Vanquish). They are also Japanese, maintaining the flavor of doing justice to the theme of samurais, etc.
Q: Why drop the FOX Engine?
Me: Do you work there? Do you know what that is?
Q: I liked the original trailer better.
Me: That was a tech demo.
Q: That trailer was ridiculous. Why is Raiden so strong now and less crazy in MGS4 if it takes place between MGS2 and 4?
Me: It does not take place between 2 and 4. This is after the events of MGS4.

Me: He pushes back a motherfucking boat in Guns of the Patriots, windmilled his sword between his toes on the ground between two Geckos. Fought 20 dudes with a blade in his teeth. Literally summoned lightning.
